On 31st March 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. AST, the CAJO hosted a training programme for the Judiciary of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The presenters were the Hon. Mr. Justice Peter Jamadar and Mrs Laurissa Pena. The topics presented were Human Trafficking, Forced Labour and Modern Forms of Slavery.

This session was attended by approximately 26 participants which included:

• Judicial Officers,

• Attorneys at Law,

• Police,

• Director of Public Prosecution, and

• Superintendent of Prisons.
