CAJO News Issue 23: A Spotlight on Guyana

July 30, 2026

Issue 23 of CAJO News spotlights Guyana as we prepare for the CAJO’s 9th Biennial Conference in Georgetown, Guyana. Guyana’s rich judicial and legal traditions springboard the continued development of the Judiciary; building institutional strength and resilience. And, across the region, similar efforts are taking place. In The Bahamas, the development of a judicial complex is underway, and we look forward to infrastructure that will continue to ensure the fair and efficient delivery of justice. In Barbados, modernisation efforts are in full stride as the Judiciary leverages technology to improve the court’s work. At the CCJ, the delivery of court judgments has been advanced to build court user and public engagement.
